Here's the thing… there's probably nothing wrong with the outfit, and there's definitely nothing wrong with you. Sometimes it's simply about finding the right fit, proportions, or styling.
And that's where a few little adjustments can make ALL the difference!
It's Not Always About the Size
One of the biggest things we tell our customers at Cruz By Design is to stop getting so caught up in the number on the tag.
You might wear a size 8 in one pair of jeans and a 12 in another. That's completely normal! Different brands, fabrics, and cuts all fit differently.
The goal isn't to fit into a certain size. The goal is to find clothes that fit YOU.
Proportions Can Change Everything
Ever put on a cute oversized top with wide-leg jeans and felt like you were drowning in fabric?
Sometimes all an outfit needs is a little balance.
Try a front tuck, a more fitted top, or a belt to create some shape. If you're wearing a flowy top, experiment with a straighter pant. And if you love oversized everything, go for it! It's all about how you feel.
Little changes can completely transform an outfit without changing the pieces themselves.
Comfort and Confidence Go Hand in Hand
You know that outfit you keep pulling at, adjusting, or checking in the mirror?
That's probably not the one.
We believe you should be able to walk into a room feeling confident without spending the entire time worrying about your clothes.
If something doesn't feel right, try a different cut, fabric, or style. Sometimes the smallest change makes the biggest difference.
Don't Give Up on a Style After One Try
Just because one pair of wide-leg jeans didn't work doesn't mean wide-leg jeans aren't for you!
There are so many different rises, lengths, fabrics, and fits. The same goes for dresses, tops, and jumpsuits.
Finding your style sometimes takes a little experimenting, and that's part of the fun!
